Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant

Cenpro Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 5 years or more of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Work Setting: Our pharmacy is a fast-paced environment where you will work closely with our team to provide excellent patient care.
  • Tasks:
    • Verify prescription information for accuracy.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prescription records.
    • Prepare medications for clients in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Set up and dismantle equipment as needed.
    • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Assist with scheduling and workflow to ensure smooth operations.
    • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies as required.
    • Bill third-party insurers for services rendered.
    • Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams as needed.
    • Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records.
    • Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
    • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients.
Supervision:

You will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail is essential for this role.
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish between colors are required.
  • Standing for extended periods and combination of sitting, standing, and walking are necessary.

  • Organized and able to work effectively in a team environment.
