Job Title: Counter Salesperson

Guillevin International is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Counter Salesperson to join our team. As a key member of our Business Centre, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing customer orders, and promoting sales of our products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional service to customers at the counter, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including picking items from the warehouse and carrying merchandise to customers' vehicles when necessary.
  • Promote sales of focus and complementary products, suggesting alternative or associated products as needed to meet customers' needs.
  • Respond to product inquiries, providing detailed information and answering questions to the best of your ability.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and efficiently, redirecting calls or taking action as required.
  • Provide price and delivery information for items not in stock, ensuring customers are informed and satisfied.
  • Maintain the counter area clean, organized, and well-stocked, setting up new displays and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Assist the Inside Sales team as needed, taking calls, preparing orders, and providing support to ensure seamless customer service.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in a similar position, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and meeting key deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised, with a strong sense of initiative and a positive professional attitude.
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative to self-improvement, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Good merchandising skills and product application knowledge, with the ability to analyze opportunities for growth and identify solutions.
  • Good computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
