Job Title: Live-in Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Live-in Caregiver to join our team at Alberta Corp.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the client's comfort and dignity.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Encourage regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Change non-sterile dressings and assist with wound care.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering the client's dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring the client's needs are met.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in caregiving or a related field is an asset.
  • Punctuality, client focus, flexibility, organization, reliability, patience, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for this role.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a residential setting, providing care and support to our clients in a safe and comfortable environment.

Language

The primary language spoken in this role is English.

Hours of Work

The successful candidate will work 35 to 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional flexibility to accommodate client needs.
