Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Janella's Caregiver. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to families in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Discipline children according to the parents' requested methods
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Help children with homework
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently
  • Reliability and time management skills
Work Environment:
  • Non-smoking environment
  • Employer's home
Language:
  • English
Work Hours:
  • 40 to 44 hours per week
