Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumber/Gas Fitter Class A to join our team at Horizon North. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing a range of plumbing and gas-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and gas systems, including water lines, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, including crimping tools, drills, and screwdrivers, to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment, adhering to industry codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all systems on site.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and storing tools and equipment, and maintaining site equipment.
  • Manage time effectively and meet deadlines to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school education and a Journeyman Certificate in Plumbing.
  • Class A Gas Technician certification.
  • 5 years of plumbing experience, with practical knowledge of plumbing techniques and methods.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools, and demonstrate organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to health and safety.
