Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Best Western Milton. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff, comply with hotel security policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, reliability.
