About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Chief Engineer - Nuclear, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting specialized tooling and equipment systems for a diverse range of projects.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage complex tooling systems by setting requirements, verifying performance, and developing maintenance/inspection programs.
- Monitor performance and review operating experience to identify areas for improvement.
- Regularly review overall project status, open issues, and lead implementation of recovery plans as necessary.
- Provide guidance to Project Engineers and Designers in the development and completion of technical deliverables.
- Foster positive relationships between departments, customers, vendors, and distributors.
Requirements:
- An educational background in Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of technical leadership in the area of custom automation or specialized equipment.
- The ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Prior experience in the custom automation and/or nuclear industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
