About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Home Building Contractor to join our team at 25th Century Homes Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Subcontractor Management: Select, employ, and coordinate trade subcontractors to meet project requirements.
  • Quality Control: Inspect subcontractor work to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our services and attract new customers.
  • Budgeting and Finance: Plan and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Staff Supervision: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to support project operations.
  • Customer Relations: Collaborate with customers, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Supply Chain Management: Maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Permitting and Compliance: Ensure all necessary construction permits are obtained and health and safety plans are implemented.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
