Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Home Building Contractor to join our team at 25th Century Homes Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Subcontractor Management: Select, employ, and coordinate the activities of trade subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing and advertising strategies to promote our services and attract new customers.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to support project operations.
  • Estimating and Bidding: Prepare estimates and bids for home construction, renovation, and restoration projects.
  • Customer Relations: Collaborate with customers, architects, and engineers to ensure that project plans and specifications meet their needs.
  • Supply Chain Management: Maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Permitting and Compliance: Ensure that all necessary construction permits are obtained and that projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Health and Safety: Develop and implement health and safety plans to protect workers and the public.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily project operations to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week.
