Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts and drive growth in our online presence and sales. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ecommerce and a strategic mindset to develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive website traffic, and increase conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and display advertising.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities and optimize our digital marketing efforts.
  • Lead email strategy, including segmentation and nurturing leads and engaging customers.
  • Measure and report on the performance of digital marketing activities and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of our ecommerce websites across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure website optimization for SEO and user experience (UX).
  • Collaborate with the web development team to implement necessary updates and improvements.
  • Monitor website performance and traffic using tools like Google Analytics and make data-driven decisions to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
  • Manage a shared services team composed of full-time members and freelancers/contractors.
  • Utilize analytical skills to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and touchpoints.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in an ecommerce setting.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools, including Google Analytics.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS required.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Commerce/Magento is an asset.
  • Experience sourcing and managing a gig economy team.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
