About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train and develop our staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and other essential skills to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate and manage the inventory and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet the demands of our customers.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards, and that our customers receive exceptional service.
  • Prepare Budget and Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other essential metrics, and prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that our restaurant is operating efficiently.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that our restaurant is in compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
