About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of exceptional pharmacy services to our customers.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions accurately and timely. They will also ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs and provide friendly, positive, and proactive interaction with all internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely
  • Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs
  • Counsel patients in regards to new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive interaction
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)

This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and requires strong leadership and performance management skills. The ideal candidate will have a Class A Pharmacists license, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license. You should also possess superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism. Excellent leadership and performance management skills are required, as well as proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies.
