Pain Management Opportunities at BC Cancer

BC Cancer is seeking a Physician to join our Pain and Symptom Management/Palliative Care team in Abbotsford. As a member of our team, you will participate in the clinical, educational, and research activities of the PSMPC Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address the palliative care needs of ambulant cancer patients, integrated with oncological management.
  • Facilitate a coordinated approach and ensure continuity of palliative care support through effective communication and transfers.
  • Provide consultation and education to other BCC care teams and community-based care providers.
  • Support and engage in research and education interests in the area of palliative and supportive care.

Requirements:

  • Meet the requirements of the provincial College of Physicians and Surgeons.
  • Have Certificate of Added Competency in Palliative Care (CAC) or equivalent training and experience.
