Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team at Ontario Inc. as an Exterior Finishing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to exterior surfaces of buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to exterior surfaces of buildings
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plaster application
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure durability and quality
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Work Environment

As a Stucco Plasterer at Ontario Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in stucco plastering
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
  • Ability to work in a team environment
