We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Business Finance Lead - Custodial and Maintenance role.

**Salary:** The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.

**Job Description**

In this key role, you will be responsible for the monthly close activities within a business portfolio. This includes liaison with sites, review of the monthly financials, preparation of the monthly management reports, comparison analysis against forecasts and budgets, liaising with external stakeholders, and preparing monthly and quarterly compliance reports.

Your work will involve:

  • Ensuring financial records and audit binders within the business portfolio, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, and clearing reconciling items in a timely manner.
  • Preparing and consolidating budget, forecasts, and business plans for review in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Preparing monthly divisional financial statements with comparison analysis against forecasts and budgets.
  • Performing analysis on the monthly financials, producing reconciliations for variances, and 'deep dive' analysis of costs where required.
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly reports for external stakeholders.
  • Calculating annual escalation increases in line with contract methodologies.
  • Owning the weekly cash flow forecasts for their business, including monitoring accounts receivable balances on an ongoing basis and liaising with operational colleagues to ensure payment.
  • Supporting finance projects such as process improvement and management reporting enhancements.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting is required.
  • Fully qualified CPA accounting designation is required.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of related financial accounting and analysis experience, with public company experience being an asset.
  • Strong background with ERP/Accounting systems, with experience with NetSuite or other big ERP system preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • A clear criminal record check is required for this role.
