About this Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Field Business Technician. This role is designed to assist with the ongoing day-to-day administrative requests originating both internally and externally.

The successful candidate will be based out of our Drayton Valley Office with occasional travel to Field Offices. This person will have a solid understanding of Citrix applications and be able to assess the accuracy and completeness of data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review invoices in OpenInvoice and SAP systems
  • Manage records and file retention, including e-filing and hard copy
  • Liaise with Accounts Payable, Audit, and Business Analyst Teams
  • Initiate correspondence and actions, including composing complex and detailed materials
  • Lead general office administration tasks, such as coordinating meetings and handling expenditures
  • Navigate through ambiguity and make sound decisions
  • Manage logistics and develop content for meetings
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Oil and Gas terminology
  • Practical working knowledge of measurement and operations practices
  • Financial experience and associated applications
  • Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Able to work with minimal level of supervision
  • Ability to be adaptable
