Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technologist to join our team in British Columbia. The successful candidate will provide skilled technical assistance and quality service to our clients, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to clients on electrical projects and issues
  • Assess technical issues on site and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades
  • Assist other technical staff with project management and safety requirements
  • Manage multiple small jobs and coordinate the effective use of technical staff and resources
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior technical staff
  • Contribute expertise to projects involving transformer testing, industrial plant and utility relaying protection, and power system design
Requirements
  • Accredited 2-year technical college diploma in Electrical Technology or related field
  • Experience in an Electrical Engineering Technologist role or related field
  • PSE or C.E.T designation
  • Cable termination experience with brands such as 3M, Raychem, Pfisterer
  • NETA certification
  • Excellent organization, time management, and negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Exceptional technical, analytical, and numerical skills
  • Team player with commitment to customer satisfaction
Compensation

$35 to $55 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime after 8 hours, double time after 10 hours.
