Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Bal Meat Shop And Tiffin Services. As a key member of our production staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality meat products for our customers.

About the Role
  • This is a permanent position offering 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
  • The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and willing to learn about our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to exacting standards.
  2. Wrap and package prepared meats for display and sale.
  3. Remove bones from meat to ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Weigh meats for accurate pricing and sale.
  5. Cut poultry into parts as required.
  6. Price meat products correctly and efficiently.
  7. Sell meats to customers with excellent communication skills.
  8. Grind meats as needed for various products.
  9. Slice cooked meats for presentation.
  10. Prepare special orders for customers with unique requests.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required; we offer on-the-job training.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not necessary.
