Pharmacy Department Head

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our retail pharmacy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and provide guidance to staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
- Manage inventory levels to meet patient needs and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
- Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and proactive manner.
- Create awareness and educate customers through public health initiatives and clinics.
- Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests.
- Obtain and review budgeted sales and net contribution.
- Identify and report sales opportunities both internally and externally.
- Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license are required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Strong people management skills and the ability to motivate and coach others are required.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism are necessary.
- Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans, are required.
- Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy Computer system are definite assets.
