We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Golderado Contracting Corp. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining all makes of heavy construction equipment in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy construction equipment, including dozers, bulldozers, excavators, wheel loaders, scrapers, water wagons, motor graders, and compaction rollers.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including paperwork and truck upkeep.
- Work safely and in compliance with all company rules and regulations.
- CSTS 09 or 2020, WHMIS 2015, and Ground Disturbance 201 certifications are required.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
- A safety-conscious attitude and reliable means of transportation are essential.
- Proficient English language skills are required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
