Mobile Network Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mobile Network Specialist to join our team at Canada Inc. As a key member of our telecommunications team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mobile network equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment as needed.
  • Install, arrange, remove and maintain telephone equipment, wiring and associated hardware to ensure seamless network connectivity.
  • Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software to optimize network performance.
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Determine the nature, cause and location of trouble to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Instruct apprentices to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets to accommodate changing network requirements.
  • Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access and ensure network connectivity.

Work Environment: This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
