Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of programs and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with community-based agencies and groups to access resources and expertise.
- Conduct regular evaluations to assess the effectiveness of programs and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, gerontology, or other related fields from an Ontario post-secondary institution, OR equivalent qualifications from another jurisdiction.
- Experience working with seniors, experience/training on GPA, PIECES, and U FIRST.
- Knowledge of RAI-MDS – AIS certified, if not must be completed successfully within one year of being hired.
