Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Pari Schulen. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support services to clients throughout their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients through the stages of change and provide support services for effective care transition and discharge planning.
  • Provide support services for the functioning of the facility through group work and working across programs.
  • Attend to the admission, care, and discharge of clients.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in addictions or social services is required.
  • Lesser academic qualifications may be accepted provided that the incumbent has completed or is willing to complete CAMH course work relevant to the program and clientele.
  • WHMIS training and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (CPI) are required.
  • Completion of support and assist course for medication is required upon hiring.
  • Basic counselling and screening skills, crisis intervention skills, and conflict resolution experience are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with vulnerable populations in the Mental Health and Addictions Field.
  • Previous experience working in an abstinence and harm reduction environment.
