Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure high standards of project delivery, meeting regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation, preparing and presenting financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements, implementing process enhancements to drive business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in transportation project management, with a strong knowledge of transportation infrastructure, including roads, highways, bridges, and public transit systems.
  • Skills: Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional teams.
