Job Title: Senior Game UI/UX Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Game UI/UX Engineer to join our team at 2K. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interface and user experience features for our games.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with game designers to develop game design documents and ensure that the UI and UX align with the game's overall vision.
  • Design and implement UI components, including menus, HUD, and mini-games, to create an engaging and intuitive player experience.
  • Work closely with the graphic designer to integrate designs and animations, and provide hooks for graphic designer animations and sound support.
  • Develop automated tests APIs related to UI systems to ensure continuous health of the game.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI and UX trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our games.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in C++ programming in the video game sector or embedded systems.
  • Basic knowledge in 3D Graphic programming (shaders, real-time rendering and rendering pipeline in general or concepts).
  • Familiarity with user experience concepts is an asset.
  • Games industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of source control and multimedia integration.
