East Hub Nutrition Specialist

Athletics Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team as a Nutrition Specialist for the East Hub. This is a unique opportunity to work with high-performance athletes and contribute to the success of our national teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nutrition support to high-performance athletes at the East Hub, including individual and group consultations, and remote support as needed.
- Develop and implement nutrition plans and interventions in consultation with coaching staff and other members of the Integrated Support Team.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition plans and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with other members of the AC Nutrition team to share resources and best practices.
- Provide leadership and education to athletes and coaching staff on performance nutrition topics.
- Attend and participate in meetings and seminars as required, including annual championships and training camps.
- Post-secondary degree in a health science related field and/or nutrition.
- Registration with the College of Ontario Dietitians and valid liability insurance.
- Experience working with high-performance athletes and a strong understanding of sports nutrition principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This position is based at the AC East Hub, York University, Toronto and requires occasional work outside regular hours.
