Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Pre-Trip, En-Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform thorough inspections to identify and address any issues, ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with regulations.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Cargo Handling and Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and handling of hazardous materials, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance and repair records, and trip reports, providing detailed documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid AZ class license and meet all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with regular travel and varying work schedules.
  • Language and Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an English-speaking environment.
