Job Title: Food Processing Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Processing Labourer to join our team at Nation Wide Canning Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks in a fast-paced food processing environment, including food safety and handling, machine operation, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure food safety and handling practices are followed at all times
  • Operate machinery and equipment to process food products
  • Conduct quality control checks on products and packaging
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets
Requirements:
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a food processing environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime
