Job Title: Food Processing Labourer

Nation Wide Canning Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Processing Labourer to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure food safety and handling practices are followed at all times
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Operate jackhammers and drills to break up pavement
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Physical demands: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Work environment: Hot, wet/damp, and fast-paced environment
