About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Test Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing project engineering test plans, carrying out engineering testing assignments, and ensuring the calibration and integration of the visual system.

The Role We Are Offering You:

  • Prepare project engineering test plans and execute testing assignments.
  • Responsible for the calibration and integration of the visual system.
  • Make maximum use of computer tools to perform engineering testing.
  • Report test results and provide recommendations to project teams.
  • Use aircraft technical documentation to provide engineering support to software developers, test pilots, and customers.
  • Prevent snag migration prior to customer acceptance by identifying and actively participating in the resolution of defects.
  • Participate in simulator qualification and represent CAE for simulator qualification issues.
  • Communicate with qualification authorities to clarify regulations.
  • Undertake independent analysis and provide recommendations to improve software and hardware development processes.
  • Respond to customers' training-related needs in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Perform logistical/administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Knowledge of internal procedures, an asset.
  • At least three years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to learn and apply skills in the flight simulator environment.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly for technical information.
  • Able to work alone or as part of a dynamic technical team.
