Job Summary

As a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the grocery department is well-stocked and organized. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zones the grocery department to ensure a clean and organized shopping environment.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced, and adheres to food safety and handling procedures.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and stocks merchandise/picks.
  • Applies product protection when required and sets new shelf caps.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
