Job Summary

As a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and organized grocery area, assisting with stocking and sales, and adhering to food safety and handling procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zones the department to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate shopping environment.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness and quality.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and other related tasks.
  • Ensures the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
  • Follows Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
