About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Designer to join our team at US Tech Solutions. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for our cloud connected inverter products and accessories.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop software for our cloud connected inverter products and accessories.
  2. Work with our cross-functional team to develop and implement new features and protocols.
  3. Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure software meets the required specifications and standards.
  4. Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field of embedded software development.
Requirements
  1. 8+ years of experience in embedded software development.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  3. Strong knowledge of C programming language for embedded systems.
  4. Extensive working knowledge of Linux.
  5. Attention to detail and structured approach to troubleshooting and problem solving.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated collaborative teamwork capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. 3+ years of experience with Rust programming language.
  2. Experience with PV and Grid Tie Energy Storage system architecture and application.
  3. Knowledge of RTOS constructs including threads, scheduling, synchronization, and memory management.
