Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Manoir Caledonia. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Provide medication management, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain mobility and flexibility.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote socialization and enjoyment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Able to provide physical care and support to clients, including lifting and transferring.
  • Ability to administer medications and follow established protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and schedules.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working on-site at Manoir Caledonia. The successful candidate will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
