Job Title: Welder Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team at Price-Schonstrom Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and high-quality work.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to fabricate metal parts.
  • Determine weldability of materials and select appropriate welding processes.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy metal parts and products.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
  • Standing for extended periods and working in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
