Chief Data Visionary

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to spearhead the implementation of world-class analytical solutions and drive data-driven decision-making at BRP.

The Opportunity:

This role offers an exciting chance to lead the development of our enterprise data model, working closely with business lines, data governance teams, and data engineers across the organization. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust data architecture that supports various data use cases, ensuring timeliness, quality, security, and availability of data.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain the overall enterprise data model, aligning it with industry standards and laws related to GDPR and SOX.
• Capture business requirements to create relational, dimensional, or data vault data models supporting different data use cases.
• Review proposed data models, optimize them, and operationalize them, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Define and implement architecture elements ensuring data quality, security, and availability.
• Continuously improve the BI platform architecture from raw data capture to presentation layer.
• Lead the definition of best practices and creative thinking.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Business Intelligence or equivalent.
• Solid experience in various modeling techniques: relational, dimensional.
• Team worker, open-minded, and willing to discuss proposed models or approaches.
• Highly organized, able to build a "game plan", and prioritize tasks with conflicting delivery dates.
• Constantly comes up with creative ideas for improvement and loves new technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, able to prepare executive presentations.
• Experience in agile delivery models.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
