Director, Finance and Commercial Strategy

Keolis Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Finance and Commercial Strategy to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the financial and commercial strategy areas of Keolis Grand River (KGR) in the context of our long-term Operation, Maintenance and Rehabilitation (OM&R) contract as part of our Public-Private Partnership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small team of multi-disciplinary employees in the areas of finance, contract management, IT, procurement, and business analytics.
  • Develop and implement financial and commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage and support the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure corporate alignment.
  • Provide financial and commercial expertise to support business decisions and drive strategic planning.
  • Manage contract management oversight on the ION LRT agreements binding the various partners of our Public-Private Partnership.
  • Work with all KGR departments and Keolis corporate groups to analyze, understand, and report on financial results.
  • Develop and monitor responses to contract management requirements, obligations, and opportunities.
  • Deliver and coordinate financial monitoring and audits with all departments.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement strategies and measures for financial performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business management, accounting, or finance.
  • Five to seven years' experience in the field of management accounting with experience in contract management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and manage financial and contractual obligations and risks.
  • CMA, CFA, and/or CIM designation an asset.
