Corporate Paralegal Specialist

Arlyn Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our team. As a Corporate Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing support to our lawyers and clients in the areas of corporate law, including corporate records maintenance, transactional work, and general support duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and update corporate records, including physical and digital files, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist with transactional work, including preparing documentation for commercial transactions, conducting due diligence reviews, and coordinating the execution and collation of transaction documents.
- Provide general support to lawyers and clients, including answering phone calls, responding to email inquiries, and communicating directly with clients as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of various forms and documents, including precedents and templates.
- Conduct research and provide information to lawyers and clients on corporate law matters.
- More than 2 years of experience as a Paralegal in a similar law firm environment, ideally with focused experience in Business Law.
- Securities and/or Real Estate Law experience is a definite asset.
- Completion of an accredited Paralegal program.
- Strong technical and formatting skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency with legal applications, including Alf, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Workshare Compare, BC Online, DocuSign, and MyLTSA.
- Experience with Soluno and Worldox is a definite asset.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a busy workload.
- Tactful with good judgment when handling confidential and sensitive matters or direct communications with clients.
- Strong team player with collaborative communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working on group projects.
- High standards for quality of client service, client-centered and business-minded approach to all work.
- Positive "can-do" attitude.
