About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our Clean Energy Innovation Research Centre at the National Research Council Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our research activities and contributing to the development of innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support data collection, organization, and integration into our data hub
  • Identify technology gaps and benchmark development technologies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent service
  • Develop and maintain databases and data management systems
  • Conduct data analysis and produce high-quality reports
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant area of expertise or a Master's Degree in Engineering combined with work experience in research or technology development
  • Significant experience in data analytics, data management, and research activities
  • Strong programming and computational skills, including Python
  • Knowledge of process engineering, materials science, and life cycle assessment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
