Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with meal preparation and serving
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as making beds and maintaining patient rooms
- Assist with transportation of patients
- Respond to call signals and provide assistance as needed
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
