Norval Farm, a division of Sheridan Nurseries, is seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team.

Job Summary:

This is a seasonal, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to learn about plants and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure job requirements and safety protocols are met.
  • Meet daily targets for quality and productivity in planting, potting, and crop maintenance.
  • Perform tasks such as pruning, clipping, staking, and harvesting.
  • Promote a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Own transportation arrangements to the nursery.
  • No education or experience required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work for extended periods standing and walking.
