About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Manager to join our team at 1501752 Alberta Ltd & 1501757 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining the highest standards of farm safety and bio-security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Health and Welfare
    • Diagnose and treat livestock health issues
    • Monitor animal health and implement preventative measures
  • Farm Operations
    • Oversee the activities of clearing the fields
    • Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
  • Equipment and Machinery
    • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain livestock performance records
    • Maintain quality control and production records
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in farm operations or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of animal health and welfare
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
