Job Summary:

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in a community setting. As a Physiotherapy Specialist, you will provide high-quality therapy services to clients in their homes, promoting independence and improving their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physiotherapy services to clients in their homes, assessing their needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that promote client independence and improve their quality of life.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Current active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario in good standing.
  • Knowledge of legislation, regulations, and policies applicable to practice.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Valid Driver's License (G2/G) and reliable insured vehicle.
  • Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) within 12 months of hire (or in process), with a current Criminal Records Check.
