Job Summary:

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in a community setting. As a Physiotherapy Specialist, you will provide high-quality therapy services to clients in their homes, promoting independence and improving their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physiotherapy services to clients in their homes, assessing their needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and client-centered care.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.

Requirements:

  • Current active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario in good standing.
  • Knowledge of legislation, regulations, and policies applicable to practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Valid Driver's License (G2/G) and reliable insured vehicle.
  • Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) within 12 months of hire (or in process), with a current Criminal Records Check.
