Job Summary

At Johnson Service Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure compliance and value optimization.
  • Assist in finalizing contracts with vendors as per Contract Management Plans.
  • Administer contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the government's guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors to minimize risk and maximize contract value.
  • Prepare RFX selection methodologies, evaluation plans, and final award recommendations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve contract issues.
  • Support procurement strategy development and refine business requirements.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in full-cycle sourcing, including RFPs, RFQs, evaluations, and contract execution.
  • Strong contract negotiation skills with demonstrated ability in resolving vendor issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools.
  • Experience using ERP systems, such as SAP.
  • Completion of SCMP or equivalent certifications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with tender systems and E-bidding platforms.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management and leading teams in a procurement environment.
