Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Food Preparation: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and assist with food preparation tasks such as washing and sanitizing dishes and other items by hand.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of food quantities used to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by serving customers at counters or buffet tables, and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, including conventional ovens and food dispensers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Language: English or French language proficiency is required.
  • Work Environment: This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Temporary position.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
