Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Food Preparation: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and assist with food preparation tasks such as washing and sanitizing dishes and other items by hand.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of food quantities used to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by serving customers at counters or buffet tables, and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, including conventional ovens and food dispensers.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Language: English or French language proficiency is required.
- Work Environment: This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
- Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Work Term: Temporary position.
- Transportation: Public transportation is available.
