Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Network Specialist to join our team at Sobeys Inc. in a contract opportunity for 12 months.
As a Network Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting a National retail Network that satisfies our customers' day-to-day telecommunication requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to users' network requests as they relate to voice/data/RF and video.
- Coordinating day-to-day operation of the National retail Network, including installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the infrastructure.
- Installing any network technology equipment required to enhance performance.
- Assisting with developing and testing network disaster recovery plans.
- Assisting with and, if required, working to correct any problems affecting network performance.
- Establishing and maintaining network cabling/cabinets together with supporting documentation.
- Being available and able to be on-call for troubleshooting Network issues.
Requirements include:
- A College Diploma in Computer Science.
- An Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science is preferred.
- Cisco training and designation.
- Wireless experience is preferred.
- Network automation experience is preferred.
- One to three years related working experience.
- Cabling and phone system experience.
- Experience working with large networks and their associated technology.
