Meat Production Associate

At Fresh Choice Foods Distribution & Service, we are currently seeking a skilled Meat Production Associate to join our team. As a Meat Production Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of meat products.
Key Responsibilities- Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials in a safe and timely manner.
- Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Wrap and package prepared meats, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
- Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
