**About the Role**

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

* Supervising a team of 6 accountants, with 2 based in Toronto and 4 in India

* Overseeing the day-to-day activities in accounting operations, including billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness

* Reviewing financial statements and preparing regular reports, including month-end closing statements, quarterly reports to the bank, and accounts payable and accounts receivable reports

* Managing relationships with banks, CRA, and auditors

* Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

* Delegating, supervising, and participating in accounting department tasks

* Developing and implementing department controls and procedures

* Assisting the Financial Controller as needed

**Qualifications**

* Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent, plus CPA, MBA, or pursuing

* 8+ years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role

* Experience with QuickBooks and Sage 300 is preferred

* Strong Excel and other Microsoft applications skills

* Excellent English communication skills are required
