Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant II to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prescription assembly and data entry
- Process customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescriptions
- Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
- Promote PROfile programs and other pharmacy services
- Compounding and pill pack assembly
- Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, and cleaning
- Drug order creation and receiving
- Schedule professional clinical services, including medication reviews, health risk assessments, and disease state management
- Manage BTC and administrative duties, including cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, and TMLs
- Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
Requirements
- Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate, or other pharmacy-recognized program
- Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
